Hand-braided 1/2 inch 'grass' rope one-piece hackamore and reins. Rope is spliced wide at the bottom to give more sidepull action. Noseband is made from half inch, Remora 3 rope, which has the feel and grip of a natural fiber sisal rope- but this rope will never rot, and has excellent UV resistance. The reins are your choice, 7 or 8' split, and are hand braided using the same great Remora rope.When braided, they are 5/8" wide. Shown with harness leather headstall with browband (sold separately, see headstalls page). Great for either riding colts or loping, ,this is a lovely, soft rope that has great 'feel'. This noseband also comes equipped with a hand tied throatlatch/ fiador , which you will run thru the throatlatch section of your headstall. I tie these witha large turkshead knot under the throat, which makes this completely adjustable under the chin for that perfect fit. Tied from a double braid, quarter inch rope in your choice of color. Simply add your headstall and you're ready to ride! You'll find these same setups on other sites for upwards of 3x our price.
