This halter is made from PNW Select 'Accessory Cord'. Firmer than a double braid, these are very , very nice halters, comparable to those used by Parelli, but with a bit more 'shape' to them. Perfect for those who want a softer halter, yet still want their halter to retain shape and form. From the PNW Catalog: "Select-AC™ utilizes the Select-Set construction design to enable the control firmness desired while allowing working flexibility. The all polyester cover & core design create the handling & knotting features that make it a “Select” product. All the cover fibers are solution dyed polyester filament fiber that are highly resistance to UV fading and yield superior wear resistance. Select-AC stays round and runs freely when working." Can be tied with 2 or 4 knots, rings can be added to nose knots so you can effectively use your halter as a sidepull, and decorative noseband braiding can be added.
Please note all of the above options in the dropdowns above- the only ones that are required are size, halter color and style (2 or 4 knots) If you do not want rings or a noseband, simply leave them blank- if you DO want a decorative noseband, you must first choose the style, and then the color. Only choosing a 'noseband color' will NOT purchase a decorative noseband, and that option will be ignored.Please see photo for the 3 different styles-the braided noseband also shows the optional rings. All of the braiding options are shown on a two knot halter.
