This PNW Select rope is 'our medium firm halter cord produced with a parallel core and tightly braided cover to create a firm low stretch product that yields fast working response to the horse. Our Select-Tension manufacturing process insures working compatibility of the cover and core'. This rope is 1/4" in diameter and fantastic for making rope halters in the style of Anderson/ Cox. Not quite as firm, but still a stiff, bitey rope- I got a special buy on these 300' spools and am passing the savings on!
